A wedding disco or dj is not a normal booking! Whoever you employ is the one individual who has accepted the responsibility of keeping your guests entertained on the biggest day of your life! Because of this you should concentrate on what he or she can provide, rather than the cheapest. Will they be suitably dressed, will their sound and lighting equipment be up to ‘wedding standard’ and are they experienced in performing at major venues.
Elite Promotions have always had a policy of only working with ‘mainly’ a small team of experienced and professional bands. We operate in exactly the same way with our hand picked stable of DJ’s/hosts.
Regardless of the DJ you are considering, either from us or from another reputeable supplier, concentrate on the following. If your DJ is a bit more expensive than others it is possibly because they have gained experience in the wedding market and as a result is booked more regularly by the top agencies and venues.
As with all wedding band’s we always suggest you should see your DJ supplier performing at a wedding or major event. We are proud to be the preferred supplier of Discos to many of the top venues in the area and we are always happy to arrange a viewing if possible. When you are ready to book?
It is also critical that when you are ready to book, the correct paperwork MUST be in place. Regardless if you have booked a stand alone DJ or one who will work alongside your live band. The DJ must be legally contracted to you on that date, and them to you.
The one thing COVID has taught us is that things can go wrong in the time between your booking and the wedding day itself. The time between the two dates can be up to two years or more and a lot can happen in that time! This is when having the protection of an agency such as Elite Promotions comes into its own. We have a policy of contacting you immediately of any changes in the personal circumstances of your band or DJ.
