The Elite Promotions Band Showcase!
Elite Promotions host regular LIVE BAND showcase events to help future brides and grooms to searching for wedding bands in Aberdeen and the North of Scotland. It also helps venues, wedding planners and private individuals the chance to see what is out there. It is an informal midweek event where you can view a selection of wedding bands and entertainers in the Aberdeen area and all performing LIVE on the same night. You can have a chat with the team at Elite and the bands themselves with no obligation to book. The doors open at 6.30pm and we intend to finish at 9pm.
Hundreds of couples have found their wedding day entertainment this way. Its informal, its midweek and it’s FREE! We hope to see you on September 29th.
Who will be performing?
‘Starsky’ – Without doubt one of the top wedding and event bands in the North of Scotland. This normally five piece will be extended at the event to showcase their larger ‘brass section’ option!
‘Pepperpot’ – This ever popular duo will be on show to highlight their versatility, humour and musicianship that has made them so popular over many years. Ideal for all venues.
‘The Franchise’ – A new addition to the range of bands we provide at our showcases. This four piece band offer a wide range of floor filling music to suit all weddings and events.
‘Iron Broo Ceilidh Band’ – This hugeley popular and experienced band can be booked from a two piece up to a seven piece! With expert dance ‘callers’ in the band a Scottish dance night is guaranteed!
‘Luke Gunn’ – A popular choice if you are looking for some laid back daytime entertainment for after the ceremnoy and before the dancing starts. This finger style guitarist is always in high demand.
‘Elite Wedding Disco’ – One of our popular and experienced DJ’s will be in attendance to host the event. Whether you are considering a stand alone DJ or to support your band we can accommodate both.
Elite Promotions always recommend that whenever possible you should NEVER book a band for a wedding or major event without seeing them play LIVE! However this is not always possible as wedding bands are normally playing at someone’s wedding!
